Board-Certified Orthodontist
At Buchwald Orthodontics, we believe that great education and training lead to excellent care for our patients. Even after completing an additional 3 years of education and training during his orthodontic residency, Dr. Buchwald took additional steps to ensure his skills are exceptional. He passed both a written and clinical examination where he presented numerous treatment cases of his patients for expert evaluation. Passing these extra examinations allowed Dr. Buchwald to become a board-certified orthodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. This is a distinction held by less than 35% of orthodontists!
Cutting-Edge Technology
Buchwald Orthodontics uses only the highest quality and most up-to-date orthodontic materials. This includes Invisalign clear aligners, as well as self-ligating clear and metal braces. With these advanced technologies comes greater treatment efficiency, which results in quicker/easier adjustments and less treatment time overall. Additionally, the technology we use results in improved esthetics and patient comfort. We use the latest imaging techniques, including digital panoramic/cephalometric X-rays and iTero scanning. Our iTero scanner is used for 3D digital impressions for Invisalign aligners, expanders, and other appliances. It also eliminates the need for messy traditional alginate (putty) impressions.
